What's perhaps more important than lap time is the fact that the GT4 RS seems like a riot on both these tracks. Still, it's impressive when you consider that the Turbo S has a significant power-to-weight advantage over the GT4 RS, with 5.7 lbs/hp to the Cayman's 6.5 lbs/hp.
The Cayman GT4 RS was wearing an ultra-sticky set of Michelin's Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, while the Turbo S was fit with more road-focused Pirelli P-Zero tires. At Hockenheim, it was very much the same story-Gebhardt's lap time of 1:47.6 was two tenths better than his in the Turbo S.
